Course Description
This intermediate course will show you how to work with advanced website
creation features available in Dreamweaver. Topics to be discussed include:
working with libraries, using style sheets, creating rollovers, working
with behaviors, defining head elements, working with layers, utilizing
timelines and assuring compatibility. Prerequisites: Macromedia Dreamweaver
MX Basic Skills 1. (Text is included with the course fee)
Performance-Based Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
· Work
with libraries to allow quicker creation of web pages that incorporate
repetitive elements.
· Use style sheets to gain increased control over the appearance
of text beyond HTML tags.
· Create rollovers to add visual interest to navigation controls
on a site.
· Work with Dreamweaver's behaviors to control dynamic page content.
· Define head elements, including keyword and description tags.
· Work with layers to gain precise layout control of page elements.
· Utilize timelines to sequence events on a page.
· Assure compatibility with multiple browser versions using browser
targeting.
