Photoshop 6.0 Photo Restoration

Course Description
Students will learn skills that go beyond those covered in the Beginning
Photoshop 6.0 course. This course will give students a firm grasp on
how to use a variety of tools and techniques to manipulate images. Students
will learn how to use the History Brush Tool, Healing and Patch Tools
as well as Stamp Tool to create cover ups, knockouts and edits. Prerequisites:
Completion of the Beginning Photoshop 6.0 course or equivalent knowledge.
(Text is included with the course fee).
Performance-Based Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
· Use Quick Mask mode, alpha channels, and layer masks to isolate
image areas.
· Create patterns using the pattern maker, use Pattern Stamp
tool to cover up large areas with a custom texture.
· Create vector paths as tools for selecting images, for creating
transparent areas in images to be used with other applications, and
for drawing shapes.
· Create edits using a previous state using the History Brush.
· Create cover ups using the Healing Brush and Patch tools.
· Use the Extract command to create complex masks quickly and
accurately, even for images with indistinct edges and very fine details.
